THE COMPETITION
A stage for the next generation of vocal artists.
The North Texas Vocal Competition recognizes and celebrates collegiate singers through a preliminary recorded audition and live semifinal and final rounds.
Semifinal Round
Twelve singers advance to the live semifinal: six in each academic division.
Final Round
Six finalists advance, three from each division. Each finalist performs one of the three selections submitted for the preliminary audition.
WHO MAY APPLY
Eligibility & divisions
Applicants must be enrolled at a college or university physically located in Tarrant, Dallas, or Denton County, Texas. A student's home address does not determine eligibility.

Junior & Senior
Ages 20–23Age is determined as of March 6, 2027. Academic classification at the time of application determines division placement. Applicants who are age 20 may qualify for either division according to their academic classification.
